This is a hot-humid july ambiance recorded at midday in the shawnee national forest in illinois. The predominant bird you hear is an eastern towhee. His call literally sounds like he is thirsty and tired of the heat of summer!this woods recording has the feel of slow motion summer, but still with the exciting and subtle knowledge that, things are starting to give way to autumn, and indoor schedules and long shadows. . Recorded thursday july 21, 2022. Equipment: zoom f3 and lom usi pro microphones. Recording in deep hardwood forest containing many hickory trees, beech trees and a lot of oak trees. A magical place.

I wanted to create a better sounding womb environment, and so i created this sound in audacity by combining a recording of my breathing along with a heart beat at 60 bpm, underwater sounds to simulate the womb environment and to top it off there's the muffled sound of a female voice reading a story to her unborn child. Over 3 minutes of loud motorcycles streaming by revving their engines plus sirens and horns during an insane motorcade of bikes and choppers that temporarily took over streets of the westside highway. Sirens are not police but are from bikes in the motorcade. Includes people talking and crowd noise in the background, some distant helicopter and followed up by some very relaxing chimes in the park that's adjacent the highway. Recorded september 2022.

After a more or less peaceful protest against right-wing parties, neo-nazis and other right-wing extremist, the mood shifted. The policemen and the black bloc acted aggresive against each other. Armored water canon trucks,teargas grenates, stones. . . I also had to run often, stood in the middle with my microphone. I just cuttet out some hard knocks on the mic. . . Nothing more. .

I chose to record the scene because i thought this was a typical parisian soundscape, something parisian subway users experiment every day, and a real insight on how this city actually sounds. I happened to be sitting in one of these new line 5 trains. I think theyre audio footprint is much smoother than the old trains. . . Recorded with a zoom h2n in x/y stereo mode.

Crowded diner/restaurant in tokyo. This is a stereo mixdown of a 4 channel surround recording i took in a crowded restaurant in tokyo. You can hear a a lot of conversations, some waiters and lots of utensil sounds. Most of the conversation in the background is in japanese. I think i heard some english when i edited this, but i'm not really sure. Anyways, good stuff. Mics were places at a 20 degree and 90 degree angle and then later mixed down to stereo. Enjoy!.
